MAXIAVALANCHE
The Maxiavalanche is a series of DH marathon mass start events held in some of Europe’s most beautiful resorts, on specially selected courses ranging in altitude from 1,000 to 1,500 metres.
The programme for each stage: after free practice on Friday and Saturday morning, a qualifying round on Saturday afternoon with a line start in waves of 70 to 100 riders allows riders to be placed in their level group: Maxiavalanche Europe Cup for the top 100, Challengers for the next 100 and Amateurs! On Sunday, there will be two races to decide who will win!

Alpine mountain bikers will be delighted to discover a brand new route that the resort’s shapers are working hard on. This brand new route promises thrills and a unique experience, suitable for all levels of ability. Thanks to the expertise of the shapers, every turn and descent has been carefully designed to offer an exciting challenge while guaranteeing the safety of the riders. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the mountains, where adrenalin and breathtaking scenery meet. Don’t miss the opening of this exceptional route, which is sure to become a must for all alpine mountain bikers.

9.30am – 5.30pm: Free practice: Free access with race number plate.

08:00am – 12:30pm Competitors welcome – collect number plates, St Etienne de Tinée
08:30am – 12.30pm Official training – Compulsory number plates
From 12.15pm : Entry in order of numbers
Competitors will be positioned on the start line 30 minutes before the start.
Maxiavalanche seeding runs
2.00pm Start of 1st classification race n°1 to 50
2.20pm Start of the 2nd classification race n°51 to 100
2.40pm Start of the 1st classification race of the e-Maxiavalanche (VTTAE) N° 201 to 250
At the end of the classification races, the riders will be divided into 2 groups for the MAXI starts on Sunday

The Auron Maxiavalanche promises first-rate Alpine mountain biking, especially as the resort has an extraordinary choice of trails in its Bike Park for downhill enthusiasts, or on the green runs for family outings.
The resort will always be welcoming, with its first-rate shops and facilities, including a swimming pool and all the entertainment on offer.
