Goal FINISHER !

Over the last few years, the TransVésubienne has made a name for itself in the mountain biking world thanks to its avant-garde character, combined with the sporting and personal challenges it imposes on its participants.

Around 88 km and 2800D+ are the “measures” of the 2024 TransVésubienne. This year, it’s time to discover and enjoy long-distance cycling for the privileged few who will cross the finish line after this extraordinary mountain bike epic.

Try your hand at adventure! Solo, Duo or Bike Hiking… on a mountain bike or e-bike on the TransVésubienne Ultra or the TransVésubienne Explorer… There’s something for everyone, so you can taste the pleasure of arriving in Nice after an epic mountain bike crossing!

Prologue

A technical course of 7km, + 50m / – 500m

The TransVésubienne kicks off on Saturday 28 September with the long-awaited return of the prologue to La Colmiane, giving riders the chance to win ‘time bonuses’ that will count towards the following day’s race.
Take part in the prologue on a virtually downhill course from the Pic de la Colmiane to Saint Dalmas at Le Soum du Pra.

Join us for the aperitif and the presentation of the best riders of the prologue at 5pm at La Colmiane.

TransV KID

For 9 – 16 years old

The TransV Kid will follow the same route as the adult prologue, starting in waves of 5 riders per category on Saturday 4 October.
There will be two stages, with the first starting at 1pm. Come and challenge yourself on the Transvésubienne prologue course : 7km, +25 m, -500 m

At the end of the first run, parents must collect their children from St Dalmas and take them back to the Colmiane chairlift for the 2nd run.

E-TransV by LOISIBIKE

The TransV, but supercharged !

From La Colmiane to Baie des Anges, which, when you add in the technical difficulties, is a sporting feat in terms of getting to the finish within the time gates with the appropriate battery changing stations.
The neutralization of two portions of the course will offer both a respite in terms of race intensity, but above all a saving in battery power.
It is forbidden to stop or call for technical assistance, as this will result in penalties at the finish.
A time limit is set for the neutralized section between Lantosque and Loda (50min).
Beyond this, any additional time over the 50 min will be added to the final race time.

The E-TransV remains one of the most demanding races…

     Challenge yourself, Tenacity, Endurance
A challenge against yourself, that’s what the E-TransV is all about

Two heats are scheduled, with the first start at 1pm.

At the end of the 1st run, parents will collect their children from Saint Dalmas and take them back up to the Colmiane chairlift for the 2nd run.

Why take part in the TransVésubienne?

1. A breathtaking itinerary : Cross a variety of landscapes, from the mountains to the Mediterranean coast, on trails offering breathtaking views.

2. The atmosphere : Immerse yourself in an electric atmosphere where the passion of running meets the beauty of nature. Meet other runners who share the same passion and create unforgettable memories.

3. Personal challenge : Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking for a new challenge, the TransVésubienne is for you.

4. A well-organized event : Benefit from flawless organization with strategically placed refreshments, a medical team and impeccable logistics, so you can concentrate on your performance and your enjoyment.

DUO RANKING !

Alone we go faster, together we go further!

Together we’re stronger! Stick together all the way to the finish line for a chance to win as a duo. You’ll need to help each other out, because only the time of the last person to cross the line counts for the duo, plus any “solidarity gap” between the first and last teammates if the team doesn’t cross the finish line together. This calculation formula will encourage Duos to stick together right up to the finish line, for better or for worse. Each rider in the team will also be ranked individually in the overall classification.

Open only to TransVésubienne mountain bike participants departing from La Colmiane.

For me, the transV is THE race I used to dream about when I was a kid reading magazines! It just sounded crazy and it was close to home. Finally, the magazines didn’t lie: this year, it’s my 13th start and each time it’s always a huge pleasure!
This race is like no other, firstly because of the concept of crossing from our magnificent mountains to the sea, and secondly because of the extraordinary and unique technical challenge. You have to stay focused from start to finish to tame the Côte d’Azur’s rocky terrain, and of course you can’t forget the physical side, with often 3000 m of D+. All in all, finishing it is already a huge achievement.
We’re also very lucky to have a trail that changes every year, allowing us to vary and reinvent the routes. I can’t wait to be at the start of the 2024 edition!

Maxime FOLCO

TransVésubienne : you have to live it to talk about it!
Some dream about it, some fear it, some have broken their teeth on it and others have tamed it.
With its special format and breathtaking mountain route, the TransV has been one of my classics for many years now 🙂 with always that little lump in my stomach the days before, the fear of not arriving, the stress of knowing whether the preparation was good, but always that same smile at the finish!
See you in 4 weeks’ time in the Mercantour for one of the best days of mountain biking this season!
Only the brave

Emeric TURCAT

The TransVésubienne is more than just a race, it’s about surpassing yourself!

For the past 5 years, every time I stand on the starting line of the TransVésubienne… I wonder why I ever came!
I suffer on the uphills, I exult on the downhills, but I love every moment of this adventure.
It’s a demanding, committed, technical and tough race, but it’s a real pleasure!
A challenge against oneself…
The TransVésubienne is one of those unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Thomas SOLER

Ranked 12th in the UCI Marathon rankings, I’ve always dreamed of taking part in the TransVésubienne, but unfortunately my schedule has never coincided until this year. At last, I can make my wish come true by starting the TransVésubienne at the end of September.
I’m used to marathon races, and I know that your routes are reputed to be among the most difficult. It’s a challenge I’m looking forward to, with the aim of finishing my 2024 season, why not by winning this race.

Costanza FASOLIS

I’m an elite athlete with the Boscaro Racing Team, and I’m honoured to be able to take part in the TransVésubienne, a race that takes place above all on spectacular terrain, a race that I know will test me physically and mentally, but I also know that once I’ve crossed the finish line, all my efforts will be rewarded by the satisfaction and happiness of having accomplished this race.

Maria Cristina NISI

The TransVésubienne… the marathon event of the year!
From technical uphill to downhill, if there’s one race that’s a perfect match for the e-bike, it’s the TransVésubienne! We cross all types of terrain.
It’s not every weekend that you cross a valley from the mountains to the sea.
